Sarah Chalke

Sarah Chalke was born in Ottawa, Ontario Canada on 27 August 1976. Her parents are Angie Chalke and Doug Chalke. Sarah is the middle child, having one older sister Natasha Chalke, and one younger, Piper Chalke. Sarah's debut as an actor was City Boy (1992), a movie made for TV. After her debut film was a success, Sarah auditioned for the role of "Becky" of Roseanne (1988). After Alicia Goranson left the show to attend college, the show was searching for someone to replace her. Sarah graduated from highschool in 1995 and was involved in the production of Roseanne (1988) from 1994 to 1995. In 1994, Sarah starred alongside Jim Varney in Ernest Goes to School (1994). In 1996, Sarah starred in two movies: Robin of Locksley (1996) and Stand Against Fear (1996) in which she played a cheerleader with the name Krista Wilson. In 1998, a year following the time that Roseanne (1988) was finished, Sarah was asked to act in a show called Nothing Too Good for a Cowboy (1998). It was based on the television movie of the same name and title, called Nothing Too Good for a Cowboy (1998) which Sarah was also a part of. The role was taken over by Becky on Roseanne (1988) from Alicia Goranson in 1993. The actress said she'd like to quit acting and pursue a degree in. [2001] (1993-1997) She was Sara Gilbert's older sibling in the show Roseanne (1988) but she is much younger in real life. Participated in 1999's CCMA Awards ceremony, and received the award for the most memorable single. [September 1999] Appeared in local Vancouver stage productions, starting aged 8 years old. Fluent in French as well as German. She volunteers at a hospice facility for terminally ill children and works for the Audrey Hepburn Children's Fund. In her leisure time, Chalke prefers cooking with her friends (especially Thai and sushi) as well as playing the guitar as well as hiking, skiing (she's an instructor), snowboarding, kayaking and reading. Her father is an attorney, and both of her parents run a child-adoption agency. Her parents took her to China in order to coordinate the adoptions of multiple orphans.Sarah Chalke
