Natalie Dormer
was born on 11 February 1982. She is an English actress. She has won an Empire
Award and been nominated for two Gemini Awards, two Critics Choice Awards, and
two Screen Actors Guild Awards. Dormer was born in Reading (Berkshire) and was
first seen on television as Anne Boleyn on the Showtime series The Tudors. This
role has earned her acclaim. Her stage debut was in the production Sweet
Nothings (2010) and was the Duchess in York in Madonna's film W.E. (2011), and
Private Lorraine in Captain America the First Avenger (2011). The performance
she gave in After Miss Julie (2012) at the Young Vic was praised. Dormer was a
target of international attention and recognition for her portrayal of Margaery
Tyrell in the HBO series Game of Thrones (2012-2016) and Cressida in the two
final parts of The Hunger Games franchise (2014-2015) and are among her
highest-grossing film. She has also portrayed Irene Adler/Moriarty in the CBS
series Elementary (2013-15), Sara Price Jess Price in The Forest (2016) and
voiced Onica in the series The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance (2019). Her role
as Penny Dreadful: City of Angels in a miniseries on Penny Dreadful, was highly
loved. Dormer was born 11 February 1982 in Reading, Berkshire (England) as the
daughter of Gary Dormer & Claire Richards. She is also the younger
sister of Samantha Dormer and Mark Dormer.
