Mary-Louise Parker

Mary-Louise Parker (born August 2 1964) is an American actress. Following her Broadway debut in Craig Lucas's Prelude to a Kiss, in 1990, Parker was nominated for a Tony Award for the role of Rita. She was also featured in Bullets over Broadway (1994), The Client (1991), The Client (1994) and Bullets over Broadway(1994), A Place for Annie (1994), Bullets over Broadway(1994)), Bullets over Broadway (1994), Bullets over Broadway1994), Bullets over Broadway (1994), Bullets over Broadway (1994), A Place for Annie (1995), The Portrait of a Lady (1996) and The Maker (1997). Parker took home the 2001 Tony Award as Best Actress in an independent film for her performance in David Auburn's Proof of Catherine Llewellyn. In the NBC television series The West Wing she starred in the role of Amy Gardner, and was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Sustained actress in an Drama Series. For her performance in the role of Harper Pitt in the HBO miniseries Angels in America, she received an award of a Golden Globe Award and a Primetime Emmy Award. She was also awarded a Primetime Emmy Award and a Primetime Emmy Award. In 2006, Parker was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award in Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. In 2007, Parker was nominated for three times for the Primetime Emmy Award in Outstanding Lead Actress in Comedy Series. She also was awarded the Golden Globe Award in 2006 for Best Actress in Red (2010) and R. (2013) and Red 2 (2013). Parker was back on Broadway in 2019 and she was in The Sound Inside. This show won her her third Tony Award for Best Actress. Parker has contributed to Esquire magazine since 2007. She also published Dear Mr. You in 2015. She was the lead in Roma Guy in the ABC TV miniseries "When We Rise" in 2017. In 2018, she worked as an advisor to the political on Billions, a Showtime show.
