Bonnie Wright

Bonnie Francesca Wright was born 17 February 1991. She is a model, actress, and director from England. Wright is most well-known for her part in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. The actress remained in the role for ten years before stepping into Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 (2011). After the Harry Potter series, Wright appeared in a number of independent films, including Before I Sleep (2013), The Sea (2013), as well as After the Dark (2014) and After the Dark (2014). The films were met with mixed reviews. She made her stage debut as the lead character in Peter Ustinov's The Moment of Truth at the Southwark Playhouse in 2013.Wright graduated from University of the Arts London in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in filmmaking. After graduating from the University of the Arts London in 2012, she began creating short films through her production company BonBonLumiere. Her first film she directed was that was a coming-of-age-drama Separate We Come and Separate We Go (2012). It was released at Cannes Film Festival to great praise from critics. She directed Know Thyself (2016), featuring Christian Coulson, and Sextant (2016), both featuring landscape and emotion as themes. Wright's trilogy Phone Calls premiered at Tribeca Film Festival 2017. Medusa's Ankles (2018) starring Kerry Fox, Jason Isaacs and is based on A. S. Byatt’s The Matisse Stories. She also directed music videos for Scarlett Johansson, Pete Yorn and Sophie Lowe. Wright is well-known for her environmental activism. she is also an ambassador for two charities: Greenpeace and Lumos.
