Aaron Jeffery

Jeffery is an award-winning New Zealand-Australian actor. He is most well-known
for his parts in the film Terry Watson in Water Rats as well as Alex Ryan in
McLeod's Daughters and as Matt "Fletch" Fletcher in Wentworth. Jeffery
was born in Auckland and moved to Australia as an teen. He was a student at
NIDA. After graduating from NIDA He began his TV career with the children's
series Ship to Shore. Jeffery is well-known for his performance in McLeod's
Daughters as Alex Ryan. He left the show in the year 2008. He also appeared in
the third season of the New Zealand drama series Outrageous Fortune. Jeffery
was also on screen as Frank in Underbelly: Badness. He wrapped filming on 22
June. The next day, Jeffery was officially named Bradley Fox's replacement on
Neighbours for a period of two weeks. In October, it was announced that Jeffery
was cast as a corrections officer in the show Wentworth. Bevan Lee's Between
Two Worlds was also his character. In April of 2021, it was announced that
Jeffery was to appear on Pieces of Her, a Netflix thriller series adapted from
the Karin Slaughter book. In both 2004 and 2007, Jeffery won the Silver Logie
for the Most Popular actor in a Drama Series for his performance on McLeod's
Daughters.
