Amy Carlson
Born in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, Amy Carlson spent most of her childhood in the Chicago area. Amy was a part of her family in Chicago, when she was in junior high school. Parents, Bob, and Barb taught at the American School in the Middle East. Amy has three siblings, sisters Betsy and Lori and Joe, the brother. Joe. Amy has backpacked all over Europe with her entire family and on her own. Because her parents worked as teachers and teachers, they could spend every summer together traveling and camping across the United States. They've camped in every American state with the exception of Alaska. Amy was in Rwanda in 1994 following the war to help with the relief efforts. Amy displayed her talent for art early when she was acting in school productions, and winning writing contests. She was an athlete of great potential during high school, and was a participant in the very first 3200-meter relay at the Illinois girls track.
