Jillian Noel Hennessy

Jillian Noel Hennessy was born on November 25 on the 25th of November, 1968. She is a Canadian actress, singer and musician. Her most well-known roles are in American television series Law & Order (where she was Claire Kincaid, a prosecutor) and Crossing Jordan (where she played Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons). She has also been an actor in films like RoboCop 3 or Most Wanted and independent films like Chutney Popcorn, which she co-directed. Hennessy was raised in Edmonton. John Hennessy, her father, was a meat-salesman and a marketing/sales executive. His job required extensive travel, which led to numerous relocations for the family. Maxine Her mother was a secretary. Her daughter was abandoned by Eleanor Her paternal grandmother in Kitchener, Ontario. John Paul Hennessy Jr. Her younger brother is Jacqueline Hennessy, an identical twin who works as a journalist for a magazine as well as a host on TV in Canada. Hennessy has Irish and French, Swedish, Italian and Swedish heritage from her father. She also has predominantly Ukrainian Roma and Austrian heritage from her mother. She attended Stanley Park Senior Public School and graduated from Grand River Collegiate Institute in Kitchener, Ontario and busked in the Toronto subway. Hennessy and her sister made their acting debut as twins in the 1988 film Dead Ringers. According to Gillian Anderson (the actress who was cast in the role) she was a finalist for Dana Scully's role in The X-Files. In 1993, Hennessy was signed by Dick Wolf as Claire Kincaid an assistant district attorney on the NBC crime drama Law & Order. The role was held for three seasons before she quit the show in 1996.
